NOTES:
  • Cameron Erving from Florida State is a physical beast with 30 bench reps and a 5.16 40 and 1.84 10 yard splits.

  • La'El Collins is fast for his size, 5.13 40

  • Jake Fisher ran a 1.75 10 yard split. Excellent explosiveness for someone 6'5.

  • OT T.J Clemmings looked great pulling while Guard Rob Crisp (Crisp looked much better on his second pull) and Tackle Ereck Flowers looked incredibly stiff and off balance

  • Jake Fisher looks to be the most athletic offensive lineman in Group 1 and has excellent footwork. He needs to have better knee bend.

  • T.J Clemmings has a good slide, quick feet, and good hand placement. Tends to get his feet a little wide during change of direction

  • Ereck Flowers clamps onto players well and doesn't let go.

  • Cam Erving is a little soggy around the mid-section. Despite that he has great movement on the edge and on pulls.

  • La'El Collins is explosive. Powerful 8'11 Broad Jump. He looked like he shot from an extra large cannon.

  • Tre Jackson with a bad 10 yard split at 1.94

  • Laken Tomlinson had a disappointing 10 yard split at 1.89 (Imporoved to 1.87 on second run) on his first try.

  • Brandon Scherff was injured in the slide drill. Had great footwork during the drill

  • Group 2 looked great overall fundamentally in drills.

  • Louisville guard John Miller has been one of the better offensive linemen at the combine. Miller has shown good footwork, hip, knee bend, and athletic ability.

  • La'El Collins came off as extremely impressive in his interview with NFL.com. The explanation of his training was an excellent indicator of the player he will be.

  • Ali Marpet and John Miller have loose, flexable hips while Andrus Peat and Jeremiah Poutasi struggled with their hip flips.
